Education is child's right

As a child, I was fortunate enough to get into a good school and had a good education for which I'm ever greatful to my parents and my brother. I'm really gifted to have such parents and a lovely brother because of whom what i'm today (An Engineer).
While standing on a traffic signal, I saw so many children begging for their livelyhood. There are so many zombis, for whom the education has become a dream. We were fortunate enough to get educated. But, just think of so many children who are deprived of education, but still dreaming of getting educated. Then, came a relief to such minds when an organisation like CRY(http://www.cry.org/) came into existance. There are many NGOs working on similar lines. One more is "India Literacy Project" (ILP) (http://www.ilpnet.org/). An NGO in Delhi - Deepalaya(http://www.deepalaya.org/) has made remarkable changes in the society. Why dont we join our hands together along with such NGOs to construct a meaningful society?
Dont you feel, its our responsibility to make the dreams of such children come true???? There is one saying in Sankrit - "Nahi Gnyanena Sadrusham" which means "Nothing is pure as knowledge". Its our responsibility to bring this purity in all. Just a sheer life without helping others who are in need cannot be termed a meaningful life. So, responsibility vests on our shoulders to realise the dreams of the children who are deprived of making them true.
If we make the child get educated, we can dream of building a successful nation - Developed India. Education is the Child's right. Therefore join me in spreading the awareness of the importance of Education among the masses.
You can participate in various ways. You need not do big things. Small-Small things aggregate to big. For example, if you have a maid in your house whose child is not educated, you can ask her to bring that child to your house and teach him in your spare time. I know satuday shoppings and sunday sleeps are big things, But if can sacrifice for a meaningful cause, then we can bring about a Change - A change which can reflect the country's progress.
If you feel this post can bring about a change, please do pass it on. Atleast if one child gets educated from this, then I'm done.
Please do pour in your suggestions as to what all can be done to decrease the illiteracy factor.
