KumaraParvatha (KP ) Trek

Hello All!!
Here are some info along with pics of Kumaraparvatha, popularly known as KP.
It is located in the western ghats.
You can take a overnight bus from Bangalore to Kukke subramanya where the trek trail starts.
If it is the first time you are going for a trek, you might feel little difficult as KP is little steep.
But.... Be prepared to carry water bottles along with you.
Once you start, after walking about 3 km, you get a path which'll take you to water source.
Most of them dont know this... Keep an eye.. There is a board showing the way "water".
It is to the right while you are climbing up-hill.
After walking 4-5km, you get a place called Girigadde where you can stay overnight.
One suggestion is you can start subramanya by around 9 'o clock. You reach Girigadde by around 1 (Avg walker). Then you can take some rest and in evening, dont forget to visit the sunset spot near girigadde. You can ask bhattaru to show the way.
The Girigadde Bhattaru'll serve you delicious food.
Then start next day early morning leaving behind all the luggage (except water bottle) start to peak. If you are leaving girigadde by around 6.30, you'll be at the peak by around 10 -10.30.
There are lot of Shivlingas on the peak.
Do watch the scenic beauty and start coming down. You'll reach Girigadde by around 1.
Have the Lunch and start climbing down-hill.
Have a look at the chitrana (Photography) especially the sunset.
Starting few photos are of Kudremukh.

Enjoy this ausumn trek...
